An independant Media ia back born of accountibility, and reflection of the society. No such rules, which could be harmful for the independance of the media. Yes it should have a very vigilent regulator. And it should minutely watch the performance of the media. Our Media as whole and Electronic media in particular needs not only the regulator but an internal watch dog of the media itself. It is also important for the media that the internal watch dog must consist of highly reputable names of the nations. In british and American media we will never see Talban or such groups, explaining their point of view... They are enamies..... But Pakistani media needs to be extra coscious while defining National Interest. A test case would be Bloch nationalist demanding sepration.
