Political parties are fighting with each other over taking complete control of Karachi. In fact, there was peace in every part of Karachi before the inception of MQM. Please do not blame President Zia or Jihad against Soviet. Although Ayub Khan came to power by force, he was the best president and quietly resigned from his post when students protested against him.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has a history of violence in urban Sindh. They have killed thousands in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and other cities of Sindh province.
