| Sorry, Mr Aftab, while lamenting "extremism in our society from historical perspective" , you also lost 'balance' in your approach! As anchor/analyst you need to be well balanced to convey the viewers a correct picture. My observations are:
1) Though military dictators did spoiled our country...yet the PM who preferred USA over ex USSR was not a dictator.
2) Despite being a dictator Ayub Khan's tenure remained icon of prosperity for a newly born nation. In all fairness his period cannot be compared with those of Yehya, Zia or Mush.
3) Its fair to snub Mush with all filth around for his bowing down on one call.... How about our dear Democratic Govt, which has given quite extra to what Mush and his cronies had given???
4) Yes, the nation was sleeping, and is sleeping and will keep sleeping... till people elect those into power who have their stakes in the country! Otherwise we keep cribbing , so will our generations!
So, i am not hopeless, yet not optimistic! Still, I believe GOOD will finally prevail... as the Truth always prevails the Falsehood, it may be late.
