| Junaid I fully agree with you for bringing up topic of Pakistanis living abroad and issues of their children.
My 2 daughters were born in Germany. We always encouraged them to speak Urdu, when at home and provided them religious education. Starting at age 6, either we visited Pakistan evry year. Or if we could not travel, sent our daughters to Pakistan, unacumpnied, during sommer vacation. In addition we sent them to attend each and every wedding in the family.
Result; today they are college student, speak and understand Urdu, pray five time a day, respect us, their teachers and have strong bond with the entire family in Pakistan. |
