US releases $280m for Pak energy projects
ISLAMABAD: The US Congress has released $280 million in new US assistance for Pakistan’s energy sector and will support improvements to the Mangla Dam. According to the US embassy, the funds will be used for infrastructure support and due diligence work on the Kurram Tangi Dam project.

LONDON: Beatles biographer Hunter Davies has donated letters and lyrics by John Lennon to the British Library as part of a new tax relief scheme.
