Karishma Tanna to romance Vivek in Sher

Television actor Karishma Tanna joined the cast of Soham Shah's Sher in Jaipur recently. She will also be shooting with Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi and Humaima Malik in the sweltering heat of Jaipur.
Karishma, who has bid adieu to daily soaps, was thrilled when she got this project. She says, "After reading the script, I was excited as it is a period film inspired by a real story. I play a Gujarati girl, Vivek's love interest and I know Vivek since a long time, so it was fun working with him." She adds, "Besides me, the director and the producer are also Gujarati in real life and so, on the sets, its full-on Gujarati masti happening," shares Tanna.
But it is Vivek Oberoi who is the linguist on sets. "Vivek is a brat on sets and he can play with all languages. If he has to talk to the camera person, he'll converse in Tamil, if he has to talk to the make-up man, he will talk in Marathi and if with me and Soham, it's Gujarati," says Karishma, adding, "It's fun as we have our own Gujarati time on sets." But, what is missing is Gujarati food - the khandvi, dhokla and all. Karishma laughs, "Sadly, we don't have Gujarati food on sets but we do love the delicious Rajasthani dal-baati, gatte ki sabzi and those proper Rajasthani thalis."
