I am not doing Dum Maro Dum: Kangna
MUMBAI: It wasn't a while ago when Kangna was said to be the chosen one for Dum Maro Dum with Abhishek Bachchan and One And Only with debutant Chirag Pasewan. While she already has a dozen odd films in her kitty today, what does she have to say about these films where her name was being spoken about but no concrete announcement ever came in?

"No, I am not doing Dum Maro Dum," confirms Kangna, "I was offered the film but I couldn't do it because of some genuine dates issue. But yes, I am doing the Chirag Paswan film. In fact I am also doing the sequel to Dhamaal. Then there is another film which is a core love story. It is titled Happy New Year and is a romantic story set in one night. The film would be directed by Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao (of Salman Khan starrer LUCKY - fame) and my co-stars are Sunny Deol and R Madhavan."

Now that's quite some work for the pretty girl who could also be starring in David Dhawan's Rascals (Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt) and Mahesh Manjrekar's remake of Marathi film Shikshanacha Aaicha Gho' (Salman Khan). Doesn't she fear getting all tired and worn out with such hectic months ahead?

"I am not practically on the sets every day though; I am getting some time to rest," she says without cutting a sorry figure here, "I definitely don't want any break though. I want to work very aggressively for at least 2-3 more years."

Well, given the confidence that Kangna is carrying and the variety of roles that she is doing post her intense journey of last 3-4 years, one can well state with confidence that next year and a half would have a lot to offer to the girl woman.
