Bodies of 7 miners found in Quetta
QUETTA: Bodies of seven kidnapped miners were found from the suburban area of Degari on Thursday, Geo News reported.

According to sources, the deceased were identified as Deen Mohammad, Ahmedullah, Kashir Khan, Khan Mohammad, Mohammad Nawaz, Abdul Ahmed and Mohammad Akbar. They belonged to Swat in Khyber Pakhtunkwa province.

It is pertinent to mention that unidentified gunmen had kidnapped seven coalmine workers from the Sorange mining fields, some 20 kilometres away from Quetta on July 7, Saturday.

Chief Inspector Mines Iftikhar Ahmed had confirmed the kidnapping incident while talking to Geo News.

The miners were working for a private coalmine company in Marwar called United Mineral Company.

No group has so far claimed the responsibility of the incident.
